4 Easter Mocktails For A Fun Family Gathering
For a fun Easter celebration with friends and family, you need something to sip and enjoy. That’s why we made this list of refreshing Easter mocktails!
4 Easter Mocktails For A Fun Family Gathering
1. Sunday Sweet
This beverage is complex. If you read the ingredients list, you’ll probably realize this is a take on sangria. Here’s the problem: when you take out the alcohol, what’s left is a one-note, overly sweet fruit juice. How can you solve this without alcohol?
You need to get bitter. And a tad orange. Orange bitters are exactly what a non-alcoholic sangria needs to stand out as a delicious beverage.
Ingredients:
- Six hibiscus tea bags
- 1 ½ cups of boiling water
- 1 ½ cup of pearl ice
- ¼ cup of honey
- Two tablespoons of water
- ½ lemon juice and zest
- One cup of fresh orange juice
- Two tablespoons of orange bitters
- One orange sliced into thin rounds
- One apple halved, cored, and thinly sliced
- One cup or red and green grapes
Directions:
- Place tea bags in a medium pitcher
- Pour boiling water over and let steep for five minutes
- Remove tea bags
- Let sit until room temperature
- Add honey and water to a small saucepan over low heat
- Heat just until honey liquefies and can easily be stirred into the water
- Remove from heat and add lemon juice with zest
- Set aside to cool
- Transfer tea and any remaining ice cubes to a larger pitcher
- Stir in honey simple syrup, fresh orange juice, and bitters.
- Add orange and apple slices and grapes, then gently stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to overnight
- Add pearl ice right before serving
2. Passion Fruit Hop
Satisfying and non-alcoholic. If it’s Easter Sunday, or any weekend really, and you’re missing the taste of Summer, then this is the beverage for you. This mocktail removes the rum for a fun and fruity drink perfect for any family gatherings. This recipe makes two drinks, so be sure to scale accordingly if you need to make beverages for multiple people.
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of mango, cut into small cubes
- ½ cup of raspberries, set aside a few for garnish
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves, packed, set aside a few for garnish
- Juice of one lime
- Six ounces of Passion fruit cocktail mix
Directions:
- Add half of the mango, raspberries, and mint leaves to each cocktail glass
- Use a muddler or back of the spoon to smash the mango, raspberries, mint, and muddle until the mango has broken just a bit.
- Next, add half of your lime juice to each glass.
- Fill glasses with pearl ice.
- Add Passion fruit cocktail mix
- Garnish with fresh raspberries, mango, and mint leaves.
3. Eggcellent Berryade
This is the absolute best drink for backyard Easter egg hunts. Set up the picnic table, grab a few chairs, fill up a pitcher or two, and watch this drink disappear!
Ingredients
- Four fresh peaches
- One cup of fresh raspberries
- 1 ¼ cup of water
- ½ cup of granulated sugar
- ½ cup of water
- Seven cups of cold water
- 1 ¼ cups fresh lemon juice (about four lemons)
- Several cups of pearl ice
Directions:
- Pit and dice the four peaches
- Add diced peaches, raspberries, and water to a food processor or blender
- Process until pureed
- Place a sieve over a large mixing bowl and pour the peach raspberry puree into the sieve
- Use the back of a large spoon to push the puree around so the liquid falls through the sieve
- Discard seeds and skin from the sieve
- Set aside a mixing bowl with strained puree
- Add granulated sugar and ½ cup of water to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves into the water
- Stir occasionally to avoid burning
- Boil for about 3 minutes until the liquid turns to syrup
- Set aside to cool slightly
- Add seven cups of water, lemon juice, and pearl ice to a large pitcher. Stir to combine.
- Pour in cooled simple syrup and peach raspberry liquid. Stir to combine again.
- Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
4. Cherry Pearl
We love pearl ice here, and this drink delivers on all the reasons why pearl ice is the best. Pearl ice absorbs the liquid around it as it melts, creating this unique and satisfying treat within a treat. You will not be disappointed here.
Keep in mind you’ll need to heat up a thick cherry syrup for this beverage.
Ingredients:
- 10 ounces of citrus Fresca
- 3 cups of pitted fresh or frozen cherries
- ⅓ cup of granulated sugar
- Two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- One teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Two teaspoons of water, depending on the desired consistency
- Pearl Ice
- Fresh thyme for garnishing
Directions:
- Wash cherries if needed
- Pour the lemon juice, water, and vanilla in a medium saucepan.

- Add the cherries and cook at medium-low for about seven minutes.
- Stir until the mixture starts to thicken and the cherries are tender.
- Let cool slightly
- Using a potato masher or an immersion blender, smash cherries until you obtain the desired consistency.
- If needed, add more water until you reach your desired consistency
- Remove from heat completely and set aside until near room temperature
- Pour cherry sauce in the bottom of your glass
- Fill glass to the top with pearl ice
- Pour citrus Fresca over top of the ice
