1. Elderflower Bloom

Although it’s just adding elderflower, this drink changes from a simple gin and tonic to so much more. It’s a crisp, refreshing reminder that Spring is right around the corner!

Adding fresh English cucumber is going the extra mile. They’re affordable, yet show your guests that you mean business.

Ingredients

  • One and a half ounces of your preferred brand of gin
  • ¾ cups of tonic water
  • One ounce of elderflower liqueur
  • One cup of crystal clear ice
  • ½ English cucumber, sliced thin
  • One lime, wedged

Directions

  1. For best results, chill your glass(es) in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour as you craft your cocktail.
  2. Fill your glass to the brim with ice.
  3. Add gin and elderflower liqueur.
  4. Add tonic water
  5. Garnish with sliced cucumber and lime wedge
  6. Serve and enjoy!

2. The Classic Grasshopper

The boozy green treat you look forward to every year. You can’t go wrong with this! If you’re tired of the usual, mix it up. Add different chocolate or alcohol. Live a little! We recommend store-bought whipped topping, but hey, homemade is simple and oh so satisfying if you have a mixer handy.

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce of creme de menthe, chilled
  • Two ounces of white or dark chocolate liqueur, chilled
  • One ounce of vodka, chilled
  • Cool or Reddi whip, for garnish
  • Dark chocolate shavings, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine Creme de menthe, chocolate liqueur, and vodka in a glass
  2. Stir to combine
  3. Top with preferred whipped topping and chocolate shavings
  4. Serve and enjoy!

3. Shamrock Bubbly

This drink tastes as fun as it sounds. Sweet, tart, and bubbly, shamrock juice is the verdant, nonalcoholic choice your kids and family will clamor over. We love the lime popsicles used as ice cubes. The drink becomes greener as the cubes melt!

The apples here are honestly optional. But we think you should go the distance. Presentation matters! But also, do what works best for your situation.

Ingredients

  • Canned pineapple juice
  • Sparkling lemonade
  • Sparkling white grape juice
  • Lime popsicles
  • Lime juice
  • Green apples
  • Shamrock clover cookie cutter

Directions

  1. Add equal parts pineapple juice, sparkling lemonade, and sparkling grape juice
  2. Cut lime popsicles into small cubes and add to juice
  3. Thinly slice apples
  4. Use shamrock shape cookie cutter to cut apple slices into the desired shape
  5. Spritz lime juice on greens apples for freshness and acidity
  6. Serve and enjoy!
